Who we are

Mary Lou,

I’ve lived in Wyoming, North Dakota, Montana, Texas, Oklahoma, New York, and now Connecticut. I’ve worked as a merchandiser for over 40 years. I love crafts and am now working with glass.

Steve,

I’ve worked on the B1 bomber radar jamming system, built CNC lathes and milling machines. Done microscopic soldering and testing of subsystems for satellites, medical lasers, and robotics systems. Now I’m doing hot glass, also known as lampworking.

Our Shop,

We built a small studio on our property, where we work with torches and colored glass rods to form the different pieces of art. Check out our videos. Our name comes from the fact that the part of CT. we live in is called “The Quiet Corner”.
